This picture I started about a year ago, but didn't finish until recently when I found it again! I did it to keep practicing my more realistic style while still keeping the fantasy element. Another portrait of Aislynn, but this time in black and white. The most painstaking part of the drawing was the hair, which to me is simple enough, but takes forever to do! Pencil on cream colored Canson paper.
The hair is excellent! Well worth all the effort! Very interesting style, mixing realisticly drawn features with fantasy ones. You've done a great job of it!
Very much so. I read some Laurell K. Hamelton over the summer. I love her fictional novels of the sidhe even though some of it tends to lead more towards erotica.

I've never read any! I do have a lot of gaelic and irish mythology books and thats where I got the inspiration and ideas. The only novels I've read with Sidhe are from Jacie Cassada. Those were very good
